“MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS 2021”: VINCONO REGE’-JEAN PAGE E IL “DUCA DI HASTINGS”, VICTORIA PEDRETTI PER IL RUOLO IN “THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR” E, CON RICONOSCIMENTO POSTUMO, CHADWICK BOSEMAN. A SCARLETT JOHANSSON IL “GENERATION AWARD”

 

 

Sono stati consegnati, ieri 16 Maggio, in California, gli “Mtv Movie & TV Awards 2021”.. i premi che il pubblico della rete assegna ogni anno ai protagonisti del cinema (e, da poche edizioni, anche della televisione).. preceduti e seguiti quest’anno, data l’eccezionale parentesi pandemica, da una speciale serata-evento trasmessa (QUI il vecchio post) lo scorso Dicembre per celebrare i migliori momenti diventati “cult” nella storia del piccolo e grande schermo, fermati negli anni dallo stesso show.. e da un secondo atto dal titolo “Unscripted”, di scena stasera, per l’ulteriore riempimento delle restanti categorie.

Ad alzare da casa i “popcorns d’oro” per la “miglior performance innovativa”, con il ruolo che lo ha reso celebre nella serie “Netflix”, “Bridgerton”, indossati e svestiti i panni del sexy “Duca di Hastings”, è stato l’attore Regé-Jean Page.. fresco di addio (QUI) al personaggio-chiave che non dovrebbe comparire dunque nella seconda stagione in arrivo del titolo record, anche se resterebbe salva la possibilità di un suo cameo per accontentare i fans.. mentre, per la categoria horror, si è distinta nel sequel tuttora in visione sulla stessa piattaforma di streaming, “The Haunting of Bly Manor”, l’istitutrice della trama.. Victoria Pedretti.. apprezzata per la “performance più terrorizzante”.. anche più della protagonista di “Behind Her Eyes”, Simona Brown (QUI).

Per la “miglior performance” in un film, senza distinzione di genere maschile o femminile, il riconoscimento postumo per l’intensa interpretazione in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” ha premiato l’attore Chadwick Boseman, già vincitore per lo stesso ruolo ai “Sag 2021” (QUI), ai “Critics’ Choice Awards 2021” (QUI) ed ai “Golden Globes 2021” (QUI). Infine, il prestigioso “Generation Award”.. già fra le sue mani nel collegamento virtuale a distanza.. è toccato all’attrice Scarlett Johansson, eroina della saga “Avengers”.. festeggiata “live” dal marito Colin Jost (QUI) con una verde cascata di slime..
