“EMMY AWARDS 2021”: VINCONO “LA REGINA DEGLI SCACCHI”, OLIVIA COLMAN E “THE CROWN”, KATE WINSLET ED EWAN MCGREGOR..

 

 

In onda con le dovute restrizioni per contrastare il possibile riesplodere della pandemia, ma tornata ad una doppia platea di presenza dopo che lo scorso anno si era ricorso all’uso dei cartonati per sopperire all’assenza del pubblico in sala.. la 73esima cerimonia di consegna degli “Emmy Awards”, in scena ieri notte a Los Angeles con un collegamento “live” da Londra.. ha visto sbancare per le serie “comedy” e “drama”, rispettivamente, “Ted Lasso” ed il suo protagonista, Jason Sudeikis.. e “The Crown”, con ben 3 dei suoi interpreti.. Olivia Colman, Josh O’Connor e Gillian Anderson (in Chloé).

Come “miglior miniserie” si è, invece imposta “La Regina degli Scacchi”.. titolo originale “Netflix”, “The Queen’s Gambit”.. che non è però valsa il riconoscimento alla sua brava attrice centrale, splendida in Dior Haute Couture, Anya Taylor-Joy.. superata nella stessa categoria dalla collega Kate Winslet, vista salire di fronte a tutti sul palco in nero Armani Privè, premiata nella cinquina di candidate per il ruolo ricoperto nel titolo “Sky”, “Omicidio a Easttown”. La corrispondente statuetta di “miglior attore” di una miniserie è di contro stata attribuita ad Ewan McGregor, preferito per il ritratto portato sul piccolo schermo dell’omonimo stilista in “Halston”.

Le note al piano hanno, invece, accompagnato il tradizionale segmento “In Memoriam” che, fra i volti dello spettacolo venuti a mancare in questo anno.. ha scelto, in particolare, di celebrare.. il grande conduttore e giornalista tv, Larry King.. il mito Christopher Plummer (QUI), l’ex protagonista del serial anni ’90, “Saved By The Bell” anche conosciuto come “Bayside School”, Dustin Diamond (QUI) e, scomparso più di recente all’inizio di questo mese, Michael K. Williams.
