"EMMY AWARDS 2019" - Alla cerimonia di consegna, Emilia Clarke ed Elisabetta Canalis con il marito Brian Perri. E nel segmento "In Memoriam" il tributo, tra gli altri, a Luke Perry..

 

 

La 71esima cerimonia di consegna degli “Emmy Awards”, in scena ieri notte come di consueto dal “Microsoft Theater” di Los Angeles, senza un vero presentatore come accaduto pochi mesi fa anche alla notte degli “Oscar”.. ed in onda, qui da noi, in diretta notturna su “Rai 4”.. sarà ricordata per il trionfo di “Game of Thrones” all’ultima stagione.. che ha vinto ancora come “miglior serie drammatica” e per l’interpretazione di Peter Dinklage come “miglior attore non protagonista”.. e l’incetta di riconoscimenti portati a casa dalla serie “Amazon”, ideata da Amy Sherman-Palladino, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, da “Ozark” e “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Alla brava Michelle Williams è andata la statuetta per l’interpretazione da protagonista in “Fosse/Verdon”, miniserie sulla straordinaria carriera del coreografo Bob Fosse.. e Billy Porter ha portato a casa il premio analogo per il ruolo in “Pose”.

Applausi si sono levati durante la toccante esibizione di Halsey sulle note di “Time After Time”, per il segmento “In Memoriam”, che come ogni anno ha commemorato i tanti artisti del mondo dello spettacolo e della tv venuti a mancare di recente.. da Doris Day, Peter Fonda, Rutger Hauer e Kristoff St. John.. all’indimenticabile divo di “Beverly Hills 90210”, Luke Perry, per cui lo scroscio di mani si è levato con ancora più intensità..
