“EMMY AWARDS 2020”: A SBANCARE E’ “SCHITT’S CREEK”, MA VINCONO ANCHE “SUCCESSION”.. MARK RUFFALO E ZENDAYA. E JENNIFER ANISTON SI RICONGIUNGE IN VIDEO ALLE COLLEGHE DI “FRIENDS”..

 

 

Da uno “Staples Center” tristemente vuoto, solo in parte riempito di cartonati per ovviare all’assenza di pubblico nel rispetto delle norme sul distanziamento dovute alla pandemia.. da cui Jimmy Kimmel ha fatto gli onori di casa, dando il suo benvenuto al ritorno regolarmente in onda di quelli che per quest’anno ha definito con ironia i “pandemmy”, volti a celebrare la televisione ed il suo ruolo nella lunga quarantena forzata da lockdown.. la 72esima cerimonia di consegna degli “Emmy Awards”, in scena ieri notte a Los Angeles con i collegamenti in presa diretta dalle case dei numerosissimi candidati e solo una manciata di ospiti e presentatori ad avvicendarsi “live”.. in onda in notturna, anche qui da noi, sul canale “Rai 4”.. ha visto sbancare per le serie “comedy” la sitcom “Schitt’s Creek”, che si è aggiudicata in sequenza tutti i riconoscimenti previsti per la categoria allargata.

La “miglior serie drammatica” è risultata “Succession”.. la “miglior interpretazione da protagonista” in una serie drama è stata riconosciuta a Zendaya per il ruolo in “Euphoria”.. mentre il titolo di “miglior attore” di una miniserie è andato al bravo Mark Ruffalo, supportato dalla moglie a fianco a lui sul divano e premiato per il lavoro in “I Know This Much Is True” (in italiano, “Un volto, due destini”).

Sulle note di “Nothing Compares 2 U” il tradizionale segmento “In Memoriam” ha ricordato i volti del piccolo e grande schermo venuti a mancare di recente.. da Naya Rivera a Chadwick Boseman, da Diana Rigg al leggendario Kirk Douglas.. e, in una gag con estintore e gel igienizzante, ha fatto la sua apparizione in veste di annunciatrice al fianco del conduttore la sempre in formissima Jennifer Aniston, poi uscita sconfitta nella sua nomination ma ricongiunta in video alle colleghe di “Friends”, Courteney Cox e Lisa Kudrow.. anche testimone via “Stories” delle irrinunciabili misure di sicurezza che hanno reso un po’ diverso il dietro le quinte tante volte calcato..
