E’ andata in scena nella notte a Los Angeles, ancora dallo “Shrine Auditorium” dove a fare gli onori di casa in qualità di presentatrice è stata l’attrice Kristen Bell in J. Mendel, la 24esima edizione degli “Screen Actors Guild Awards”.. ovvero i riconoscimenti che lo “Screen Actors Guild” assegna ogni anno agli attori, facenti parte dell’associazione, che si sono distinti per le migliori interpretazioni. Premiato il cast di “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” e la sua attrice protagonista Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman come miglior attore per “Darkest Hour” e il cast di “Wonder Woman”.. ma anche Morgan Freeman, che ha ricevuto il riconoscimento alla carriera.

Per quanto riguarda poi la tv.. hanno vinto “Game of Thrones”, “Veep” e la brava Julia Louis-Dreyfus, che non ha però potuto essere presente perchè impegnata nella dura lotta alla malattia.. e Nicole Kidman, alla sua prima statuetta per il ruolo in “Big Little Lies”.
