Sono stati consegnati nella notte, dallo “Shrine Auditorium” di Los Angeles, gli “Mtv Movie & TV Awards 2017”, i premi che il pubblico della rete assegna ogni anno ai protagonisti del cinema (e da quest’anno anche tv) e condotti per questa edizione da Adam DeVine. Il riconoscimento come “miglior film” è andato al capolavoro della “Disney”, “Beauty and the Beast”, mentre la sua protagonista Emma Watson ha portato a casa il premio, quest’anno totalmente rinnovato e incorporato nel “Best Actor” alla migliore performance, senza distinzione di genere maschile o femminile.
Vin Diesel e gli altri protagonisti di “The Fate of the Furious”, ottavo capitolo della saga “Fast & Furious”.. in particolare Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson e Jordana Brewster.. hanno, invece, ritirato il “Generation Award”, per la prima volta dedicato ad un franchise, tanto più così longevo. E l’attore, come solito fare ad ogni premiazione, non ha mancato di ricordare nelle sue parole l’amico e collega scomparso Paul Walker.. al quale si è rivolto alzando i popcorn al cielo.. “Speriamo che tu sia orgoglioso”..
