Tutti rigorosamente vestiti di nero, gli uomini come le donne, alcuni anche con le relative spille al petto.. in segno di solidarietà per le vittime di molestie sul posto di lavoro e per supportare attivamente il movimento nato spontaneamente “Time’s Up”, al grido di “Why We Wear Black”.. i protagonisti che hanno animato la 75esima edizione dei “Golden Globes”, in scena ieri dalla familiare cornice del “Beverly Hilton Hotel”, in California.. sono stati accolti dal cerimoniere della serata, Seth Meyers. A loro, via social, hanno voluto unirsi idealmente anche due assenti “illustri”.. Anne Hathaway, a letto malata (QUI).. e Jessica Alba, da poco diventata nuovamente mamma (QUI il precedente post), e perciò a casa con il suo terzogenito, Hayes..
Si è aggiudicato la statuetta come “miglior film drammatico” il capolavoro di Martin McDonagh, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri“.. così come alla sua protagonista, Frances McDormand, è andato il globo come “miglior attrice”. Per la “miglior regia” è stato premiato Guillermo Del Toro per il lavoro in “The Shape of Water”, mentre il “miglior protagonista maschile” è il Gary Oldman di “Darkest Hour”. Riconoscimenti sono andati anche a James Franco per “The Disaster Artist“.. alla “Disney”, che con “Coco” ha trionfato come “miglior film di animazione”.. e a Diane Kruger che ha vinto con “In The Fade” come “miglior pellicola straniera” lasciando a bocca asciutta l’Italia. La “miglior canzone originale” è “This Is Me” dalla colonna sonora di “The Greatest Showman”.. e, quanto alle serie tv, il trionfo annunciato è stato per “Big Little Lies” e una delle sue protagoniste, Nicole Kidman.. ma ha vinto anche Ewan McGregor per il ruolo in “Fargo”.
Il “Golden Globe” alla carriera, intitolato a “Cecil B. DeMille” che negli anni scorsi era stato assegnato, tra gli altri, a George Clooney e Meryl Streep.. è stato attribuito alla conduttrice Oprah Winfrey… che, in Versace, ha riscosso con il suo discorso l’ovazione dei presenti..
Il momento, forse più toccante, è stato però quello che ha visto sul palco l’attrice Catherine Zeta-Jones, sempre bellissima in un abito di Zuhair Murad, al fianco del suocero Kirk Douglas reduce dal recente compimento dei suoi 101 anni…
