Si è tenuta nella notte, ed è stata trasmessa in diretta da “Rai 4”  dalla cornice del “Microsoft Theater” di Los Angeles, la 68esima edizione degli “Emmy Awards” .. presentata quest’anno da Jimmy Kimmel.

Il momento più emozionante ha visto Henry Winkler omaggiare lo scomparso Garry Marshall, regista di “Pretty Woman” ma anche ideatore della serie tv “Happy Days”, nella quale lui interpretava il ruolo di Fonzie.. Il suo ricordo ha introdotto il momento “In Memoriam”.. che, sulle note di Tori Kelly, tra le foto ha visto scorrere i volti di Alan Rickman, David Bowie e Prince..

Quello più divertente è stato segnato dall’incursione sul palco, con una mela, dell’attore Matt Damon, che ha bonariamente preso in giro il conduttore per la mancata vittoria nella sua categoria.
